The JV boys basketball team extended their winning streak on Tuesday night (1/10) against the Hattiesburg Forerunners, defeating them 44-18. This win brings the Ambassadors to 6-2 on the season.

Kaleb Wamble led the Ambassadors with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals, shooting 57% from the floor. Gavin Ramsey had 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals, making both free throws and shooting 40% from the floor.

Daniel Tewell, freshman member of the team, said “We had good speed this game and moved the ball well. We’ve been training pretty hard to improve in these areas.”

The JV girls team gave a valiant effort but couldn’t pull out a win against an aggressive Hattiesburg team. “They [the girls] had a lot of opportunities but just didn’t execute effectively,” Mr. Ainsworth, school principal, said.

A HUGE thanks to the parents and fans for their continued support. Next up is an away game for the Varsity Girls this Friday. The bus will leave LBA at 4:30 P.M. Come out and support our Lady Ambassadors!
