Brooke Dawson

The Dawson family moved to Theodore in January 2019. Mrs. Dawson immediately jumped in and began teaching English. She was born in Texas and raised in Singapore but claims Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as her hometown. She has been at LBA for several years, but brings 20 years of teaching experience. She teaches English at Lighthouse because she loves English, but her favorite subject to teach is Biology! She and her husband, Dave, have four children, Mackenzie, Nataley, Lucas, and Mollie.

Her hobbies include shopping, spending time with her family, and going to the beach. Mrs. Dawson’s favorite sports team is the Lighthouse Ambassadors, but outside of Lighthouse, she is an Oklahoma Sooner fan (Boomer Sooner)! Psalm 34:3-4 are verses that are particularly important to Mrs. Dawson. The passage says, “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” We are thankful to have the Dawson family here at Lighthouse and look forward to the years ahead!
