Intentionally Small Classrooms
At LBA, growth is not just about adding more students. It is about growing wisely while protecting the classroom environment that helps students thrive.
For the upcoming school year, Lighthouse Baptist Academy has opened additional classes in K5, 1st grade, and 3rd grade so we can keep those classroom sizes below 18 students per class.
Smaller classrooms allow for stronger routines, more personal attention, better academic support, and teachers who truly know their students.
Looking ahead, LBA is also planning to move toward two sections in 2nd grade and 4th grade next year as our school continues to grow with purpose.
LBA Is a Great Fit for Families Who Want:
- A Christ-centered education grounded in Biblical truth
- Small classroom environments where students are known and supported
- Strong academic structure, clear expectations, and traditional instruction
- Teachers who care about both academic growth and character development
- A school that partners closely with parents
- Preparation for college, career, calling, and faithful Christian living
A Biblical Worldview in Every Subject
At Lighthouse Baptist Academy, faith is not limited to Bible class alone. Every subject—math, science, history, literature, and the arts—is taught through a Christian worldview.
Students learn to see God’s truth as the foundation of all knowledge, developing discernment, wisdom, and a strong moral compass.
Academic Excellence in a Structured Classroom
Lighthouse Baptist Academy is a traditional Christian school with teacher-led instruction, structured classrooms, clear expectations, and strong academic foundations built on Biblical truth.
Students are taught in an environment that values focus, discipline, mastery, personal responsibility, and respect for authority.
We believe children benefit from classrooms that are orderly, purposeful, and personal. Our teachers work to help students grow not only in knowledge, but also in confidence, character, and work ethic.
- Teacher-led instruction with desks, textbooks, and daily classroom routines
- A traditional classroom model that supports focus and mastery

- Preparation for college, career, calling, and faithful Christian living
A Strong Start for Every Stage
At Lighthouse Baptist Academy, our youngest students are known, nurtured, and challenged. From K4 through 5th grade, we build confident learners through strong academics, joyful learning, and close partnership with families.
K4 & K5 — A Confident Start
The early years matter. Our K4 and K5 programs give children a strong, structured beginning in a caring Christian environment where they are known, loved, and guided each day.
Students build confidence through hands-on learning, teacher-led instruction, phonics readiness, number readiness, music, play, and daily routines that prepare them for long-term success.
For the upcoming school year, LBA has opened an additional K5 class so we can keep K5 classroom sizes below 18 students.
- Full-day and half-day options: Flexible scheduling for families and younger learners.
- Strong academic foundations: Early phonics, number readiness, music, and essential classroom habits.
- Structured routines: Students learn how to listen, follow directions, work with others, and grow in independence.
- Parent partnership: We work closely with families to help students grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
1st–5th Grade — Joyful Learning, Lasting Growth
In 1st through 5th grade, students strengthen their reading, math, writing, and communication skills in a structured classroom setting that encourages both excellence and joy in learning.
For the upcoming school year, LBA has opened additional classes in 1st grade and 3rd grade to keep classroom sizes below 18 students and provide the personal attention students need during these important academic years.
Students are known by name, supported individually, and guided by teachers who care deeply about their growth in and out of the classroom.
- Phonics-based reading: Systematic instruction that helps students become strong, confident readers.
- Daily structure and clear expectations: A traditional classroom environment that supports focus, discipline, and growth.
- Music, art, P.E. & play: Enrichment opportunities that develop creativity, coordination, and healthy social interaction.
- Reading achievement: Students celebrate growth and milestones through Accelerated Reader and other academic successes.
These elementary years help students build the character, skills, and confidence needed for success in the classroom and beyond.
Preparing Christian Leaders for the Future
LBA exists to prepare students to lead—not just succeed. Through intentional instruction, service opportunities, and Christ-centered mentorship, students are equipped to stand firm in their faith and lead with integrity and wisdom.
Secondary 6th–12th — College & Career Ready
From 6th grade through graduation, our secondary program focuses on rigorous academics, spiritual formation, and real-world preparation. Students are guided to think critically, serve humbly, and pursue excellence.
- Dual Enrollment & College Credit: Many students take dual-enrollment courses and graduate with semesters of college already completed—accelerating their pathway to degree completion and saving time and cost.
- Advanced Coursework & Electives: College-level courses, advanced electives, and specialty pathways in areas such as STEM and fine arts deepen knowledge and prepare students for higher education.
- Personalized College Counseling: One-on-one advising helps students select coursework, prepare applications, and find the right college or career path.
- Internships & Service-Learning: Practical experiences and community partnerships connect classroom learning with leadership, service, and career exploration.
- Leadership & Extracurriculars: Student government, mission teams, athletics, and fine arts provide leadership opportunities that form character and influence.
Our goal is graduates who are academically prepared, spiritually grounded, and ready to pursue college, career, and calling.
